Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that occurred Sunday evening around 7 P.M.

Reports state that a semi-truck that was hauling propane fuel crashed in the median on I-57  at mile marker 52, just south of Marion.

The trailer did not appear to be leaking after it rolled on its side. As a precaution, the Marion fire department evacuated nearby residences.

I-57 reopened to traffic at around 3 am Monday morning.
