A Du Quoin Man charged with attempted sexual assault was arrested for violating his bail bond.

57 year-old Michael Dean was arrested on Friday by Du Quoin Police and the Perry County Sheriff’s office, following an arrest warrant with charges of attempted aggravated sexual abuse.

The terms of Dean’s bond prohibited him from entering any establishments whose primary sales were alcohol. Dean had been caught entering bars in the Du Quoin area.

He has posted an 8,000 dollar bail and was released.
