Two state agencies are now being sued by Williamson County because of payments not received since July.

Williamson County Commissioners along with State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti made the announcement at a press conference yesterday.

The lawsuit seeks salary reimbursements totaling $139,000, and names the IL Department of Revenue and the IL Comptroller’s office as defendants.

The lawsuit follows a similar suit in St. Clair County, which worked out in the county’s favor, and is expected to be filed no later than today.
