A Carterville man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a disabled woman.

57-year old Darrell Walker was accused of sexually assaulting a 32-year old intellectually disabled woman while working as a bus driver for an agency which provides services to the disabled.

In a plea deal, Walker pleaded guilty to a Class 1 felony charge of sexual assault.

Walker will see five years in a state prison, he must serve at least 85% of that sentence, and will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
