The IL State Police has released the name of the man involved in the deadly crash in Union Co. over the weekend. 25-year old DeMarcus Huddleston was the driver of the car which was found Saturday morning.

A Murphysboro man is dead after a crash in Union County.

According to the IL State Police, the man, who has not been identified pending family notifications, was travelling northbound on IL Rt. 127 north of Aldridge Rd during the overnight hours.

The driver missed a curve in the road, struck a tree, and was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was found just after 7 am on Saturday.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
