A man is dead after an accident at a mine in Franklin County.

20-year old Tyler Rath of Marion died last night at the M-Class Mine in Macedonia.

An autopsy is scheduled for later today, and the accident is under investigation by the IL Dept. of Mines and Minerals and the Mine Safety and Health Administration.
