Many programs and agencies aren’t seeing their normal funding due to the lack of a state budget and that includes Franklin hospital.
The hospital’s board met yesterday and decided to raise property taxes to 4.9 percent to help bring in money that they aren’t receiving from the state.
Officials at the hospital say that if they don’t receive their normal funding in the next 6 months, the hospital will be in the red when it comes to cash flow.
The hospital is currently owed 1.2 million dollars.
