Five people were indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.
32-year old Keenon Farr, 30-year olod Roderick McClain, and 35-year old Jeffery Cain of Carbondale,
35-year old Tommy Langston of Herrin, and 45-year old Tammy Whitton of Mt. Vernon were all charged with conspiracy to distribute over an ounce of crack cocaine.
Prosecutors say the crime occurred between October of 2014 and July 2015 in Jackson and Williamson Counties.
Each faces up to 40 years in prison and $5 million in fines.
