A former band director for an area high school has been sentenced to jail time and probation for taking inappropriate pictures of an underage girl.
42-year old Michael Todd Norrington was sentenced to 150 days in jail and 30 months of probation yesterday in Jackson County Court.
Prosecutors say Norrington used his cell phone to take pictures up a 14-year old girl’s shorts at a store in Carbondale.
Norrington will begin his sentence on October 15th.
