A shooting is under investigation in Alexander Co.

Illinois State Police say the shooting happened around 8:30 pm near the intersection of IL Rt. 146 and Brookwood Drive in East Cape Girardeau, when four men shot the victim several times after an argument.

The suspects were then seen crossing into Missouri.

Authorities say the men should be considered armed and dangerous.
