Two people are facing child endangerment and meth-related charges after a man was found walking along Interstate 64 with a child in Jefferson Co.

Last Wednesday, Jefferson Co. deputies responded to a report of a man walking along the road with a child wearing a diaper. 22-year old Daniel Gallardo of Yakima, Washington admitted to authorities that he had been using meth.

According to authorities, the 2-year old was taken into protective custody and also tested positive for meth.

Another woman, 18-year old Hannah Snyder of Raleigh, North Carolina was also arrested. Both are being held in the Jefferson Co. Jail on $20,000 bond.
