A Pinckneyville woman has been charged with stealing over $100,000 from the Pinckneyville Rural Fire Protection District.
Attorney General Lisa Madigan says 52-year old Tammy Kellerman embezzled more than $100,000 from the department for personal use, then failed to disclose the money on her taxes.
Kellerman is charged with one count of theft of government funds over $100,000, four counts of filing fraudulent state income tax returns, four counts of computer fraud, two counts of wire fraud, and two counts of official misconduct.
Kellerman will appear in Perry Co. Court on September 29th.
