A Jackson county jury found a former Carterville High School Band Director guilty of taking videos up and through a young girl’s clothing.
The jury met on Friday and concluded that there was enough evidence to convict 41 year old Michael Todd Norrington.
The incident happened in June of 2014 in a Carbondale retail store. Since the young girl was a minor, this is considered a Class 3 Felony.
Norrington could face up to 2 to 5 years in state prison.
The sentencing date is September 15th.
