The hearing for a 16 year old from Mounds scheduled for today has been postponed.

 

The teen is accused of shooting a Mound’s police officer when authorities were checking out a call for burglary.

 

The hearing was set to determine whether the teen should be charged as an adult.

 

The teen was originally charged with a two count juvenile delinquency.

 

A new date for the hearing has not yet been set.
