A Vergennes man who was reported missing recently has been found.

The Illinois State Police Air Operations Unit found 79-year old Ralph Zoller around 8:30 AM Wednesday morning in a cornfield approximately three miles from his home.

Zoller’s truck was found around 15 minutes before he was spotted near McMahon Rd.

In a release, Jackson County Sheriff Bob Burns said without help from the State Police Air Operations Unit, the likelihood of finding Zoller’s truck was remote.

The Vergennes and Elkville Fire Departments, and Elkville and Dowell Police Departments assisted in finding Ralph Zoller.
