A Union County man is facing additional jail time after he was convicted of passing bad checks.

Jamal Oxford was sentenced to seven years in prison yesterday in Franklin County Court. Oxford is also serving a seven-year sentence for stealing from his former employer.

His first seven year sentence must be completed before the next seven year sentence begins.
