A Carterville man will see prison time after being convicted of two felony burglary counts.

48-year old Ronald Kelley Jr. was charged on Wednesday with felony residential burglary and felony burglary in Jackson County Court.

Kelley was arrested after police found him searching through someone’s car. Kelley was also caught trying to break into someone’s home on that night.

Kelley received a 24 year sentence, and will have to serve a total of six years parole afterwards.
