An Ozark man has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated battery in connection with the fatal shooting of the man’s father.

36-year old Dennis Schapmire shot his father, Nicholas Schapmire in the head according to investigators.

Schapmire faces up to life in prison, and remains incarcerated in the Massac County Jail.
