A Christopher man was hospitalized after a traffic crash yesterday morning involving a semi.

25-year old Daniel Curran of Christopher was driving his truck on Interstate 64 westbound near mile marker 59.

A semi being driven by 69-year old Gary Nordling of Sioux Falls, SD was in front when Curran’s truck struck the rear of the semi. Curran’s vehicle came to rest in the left lane of I-64 Eastbound. Curran was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
