A Carbondale man will see prison time for Armed Robbery.
18-year old Marshawn Steele pleaded guilty to one count of Armed Robbery last week in connection with an incident that occurred in December, and has been sentenced to 26 years in prison.
Authorities say Steele knocked on a person’s door and asked to borrow their phone, before holding the person at gunpoint and stealing valuables along with an accomplice.
Two other felony cases were reportedly dropped when Steele pleaded guilty. Steele must serve three years of mandatory supervised release at the end of his prison term.
