An incident which prompted the evacuation of Lawson Hall at SIU Friday Night is still under investigation.

A source tells us that a physical fight may have taken place where the incident happened, but that the incident may have been reported as a shooting in order to prompt a faster police response.

SIU Spokesperson Rae Goldsmith could not confirm that report, re-iterating that the investigation continues.
