A man is dead after his car ended up in Crab Orchard lake yesterday.

Officials say 67-year old Neil Honeysett of Hurst was attempting to back his car up to get onto the roadway, when the car went down the embankment into the water.

Honeysett was pronounced dead after revival attempts by paramedics.
