A Carterville man is behind bars after leading police on a foot chase.

Jonathon Keim was arrested after being stopped by Energy police and fleeing from the car, and resisting arrest when officers caught up to him.

Keim was arrested for possession of cannabis, unlawful weapon possession by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm, no valid FOID card, and resisting a peace officer.

Keim was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
