A West Frankfort man has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute heroin.

34-year old George Mayo was reportedly obtaining heroin from his co-defendant, Frank Johnson. Mayo would then reportedly distribute some of the heroin while keeping a portion for personal use.

Mayo is currently being held without bond, and awaits sentencing. Mayo’s Co-defendant Frank Johnson was sentenced to 108 months in a federal prison for his role in the conspiracy.
