Two bills in the Illinois legislature aim to limit the use of electronic cigarettes.
A bill introduced by Illinois Representative Kathleen Willis would amend the School Code and the Smoke Free Illinois Act. This would prohibit electronic cigarettes on school property, bars, restaurants, and businesses.
The second bill will issue a ban on the sale of flavored cigarette liquids for e-cigs.
One of the main reasons for these two new bills, includes the worry that young people will be more attracted to the use of e-cigs, when doctors are not entirely sure what is in the vapors and whether or not they are less harmful than tobacco cigarettes.
