The courthouses in Saline and White Counties were evacuated yesterday after a bomb threat.
A call was received by 911 dispatchers in Johnson County, and officials say both the White and Saline County Courthouses were mentioned.
The White County Courthouse canceled all proceedings for yesterday, as was done in Saline County, to allow police and the Secretary of State bomb squad to thoroughly inspect both buildings.
22-year old Tevin Tate of Carrier Mills was arrested and is currently incarcerated at the Saline County Jail for allegedly making the bomb threats.
Tate has been charged with falsely making a terrorist threat. More charges are expected.
