A Benton man will see prison time for being in possession of child pornography.

Michael Hopson was arrested for having multiple images of child pornography in November 2013. Hopson also persuaded a minor to pose for a picture depicting sexual acts, according to investigators.

Hopson was sentenced to 30 months behind bars yesterday in Franklin County Court. He will have to register as a sex offender once he is released.
