A bomb threat which targets the Saline County courthouse is being investigated by authorities.

The threat was first heard by 911 dispatchers in Johnson County around 7:30 am Thursday, but the call was dropped before it could be transferred to Saline County.

Members of the Secretary of State Bomb Squad and Saline County Sheriff’s deputies searched the building. No bomb was found and employees were allowed back into the building around 8:45 am.
