Franklin County, Ill. – Police are investigating a crash on Interstate 57 in Franklin County.

Illinois State Police say the crash happened near mile marker 69 around 8:24 a.m. Sunday. Police say the driver of a 1994 Oldsmobile lost control after a tire blew, entered the median and struck a semi-tractor heading in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Oldsmobile, a 25-year-old from West Frankfort, was treated for injuries at a local hospital. The driver of the semi-tractor was unharmed.

No charges have been filed.
