BELLEVILLE, Ill. (AP) — A southern Illinois math teacher accused of videotaping girls in a high school locker room now is charged with illegally videotaping girls in a motel bathroom.
St. Clair County prosecutors have charged Timothy Going of Fairfield with four counts related to the videotaping. They say it happened last November in the bathroom of a Super 8 motel in Fairview Heights. The criminal complaint alleges Going video recorded girls ages 15 to 18.
Going already had been charged in Wayne County with illegally placing a video camera in the girls’ locker room at Fairfield Community High School.
The district’s superintendent, David Savage, says Going is suspended with pay, pending the investigation’s outcome.
Going remains jailed.
A woman who answered the telephone Wednesday at a listing for Going hung up without comment.
